Overview
The DWDC trainers have expertise in special education, secondary transition, employment and employment supports, child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health, trauma-informed care, wellness, vocational rehabilitation, contracting and agreements, grant writing and implementation, project management, law, policies, regulations, and systems collaboration/service coordination. To meet the needs of your staff and partners, DWDC can develop customized training to be delivered in a wide range of ways (virtually, in person, recorded) and over specific periods of time (1 hour or more, multi-part series, bootcamps). In addition, the DWDC team is available for personalized technical assistance and/or to host office hours support in addition to professional development.
DWDC ensures all training materials will be 508-compliant to be accessible for all participants and will disseminate materials to all registered participants electronically prior to the start of the training(s). Upon completion of each training, the DWDC team will send the participants a follow-up survey and send the contracting partner a list of all registrants, a list of actual participants, and a summary report from the training evaluation. It is the responsibility of the contracting partner to issue any certificates of participation/completion should attendees need or request that documentation.
Note: For training provided directly to vocational rehabilitation (VR) staff, the DWDC may submit for CRC credits for any training developed if the contract specifies the submission for CRC approval and if within the two-month window before delivering each training.
